I called outsurance for a cheaper comparative quote on my current insurance; their radio adverts promise to pay you R400 if they cannot beat your current insurance. my current insurance is R980 and they quoted me R4500 or so for my car.
when i asked Cohan Peter (sales rep) if he will pay me the R400, he told me they cannot pay it to me because i have had a quotation through them before hence i wont qualify.
i find this to be misleading advertisement and they are misleading the public knowing very well that they will find every possible reason not to pay out when they cannot beat your current insurance. I must also say what they are doing is illegal in term of the Consumer protection Act.
