Hi

I am totally disappointed with the service from standard bank. I have been a client for the last 22 years and the service has gone from bad to worse. I have been trying to apply for a credit card (which I had before) for the last 2 weeks so that I can join the UCOUNTS program. I have been to the Boksburg branch but the person who helped did not have any information regarding the costs and workings of the credit card. She asked me to call the call centre to get more information and then join (which already is totally ridiculous, what are they then trained to do). Anyway I contacted the call centre and provided all my information and I was advised that they will get back to me. A week went by with no call. I then called again last week and gave the same information again and I was advised once again they will call me in the next 24 hours. It has now been a further week with no call. What is going on with standard bank??? This is really a bank do deal with.
