I have now tried 4 times to close my standard bank prestige account due to appalling service and everytime I go into a branch they mention I must send a secure message via my internet banking and ive now sent 3 secure messages and dont get any response!
I also have now been charged a monthly debit order for ASM insurance on my account. This is absolute bulls&*t!
I also made a payment to someone that reflected on my side and was debited but they (standard bank customer) didnt receive the money!
I have tried calling the prestige call centre and sit waiting for over 15 minutes and still no one answers your calls!
Appalling service!
I need someone from Standard Bank to CALL me urgently!!!
