Insured by Regent is like NOT BEING INSURED AT ALL

In the final analysis, I blame myself for failing to read and interpret the virtual fine print in legal jargon which says:

"The notional idea of being notionally insured by Regent insurance means that your comprehensive cover is merely notional"

Which a lawyer translated to me into simple English to mean that

"Being COMPREHENSIVELY INSURED by Regent is like NOT BEING INSURED AT ALL."

That is certainly true in my case for the following experiences:

1. I have had to pay for my own TOWING.
2. I have had to arrange and PAY for my own CAR RENTAL.
3. I have to pay for the REPAIRS on my own car

All this with a NOTIONAL contribution by my COMPREHENSIVE insurer, REGENT INSURANCE... or NONE AT ALL in the case of the CAR HIRE.

Quite frankly this is the experience that is preserved for uninsured individuals who drive an uninsurable wreck of a skorokoro. Not a top-of-the-range Land Rover with R180, 000 worth of after- market extras. I could have afforded to be better insured by a reputable insurer.

In conclusion, Being COMPREHENSIVELY insured by regent is simply a FIGMENT OF ONE'S IMAGINATION.
