A client of Regent skipped a light, causing an accident which wrote off my Toyota. I submitted a third party claim to Regent on 31 May. Eventually after my enquiries, it became clear the client was refusing responsibility for the accident. I then got an account from an independent eyewitness, testifying that I had right of way at the time of the accident. That was submitted on the first of July. It's now two weeks later, and the claim hasn't progressed any further. The client of Regent is insured comprehensively, even for negligence, and I have an eyewitness that can attest the accident was not my fault. The vehicle has been assessed independently to ensure it really is a write-off. Why is this taking so long?
