Sub-standard repair work using damaged parts

Following my accident in Cape Town my AA Insurance consultant booked my car with Auto Service Centre, affilliated with AA. I collected the car from Cape Town since Im based in JHB after 3 months of repair work. I drove up until Kimberly and a routine check on my oil level revealed that the car needed 2 cans of oil after it was filled at the repair workshop. At a pitstop to visit a friend, I noticed that the car was leaking oil from the under carriage and leaving puddles on the ground. a further inspection revealed that the parts used on my car are the same broken parts after the accident e.g. 1. instead of changing the under carriage dust cover they put back the damaged broken dust cover and used cable ties to secure it, RIDICULOUS,! 2. One of the tyres had a cut on the outside wall, they inflated it and put it back on the car... how it was fixed is a mystery as tyres damaged on the wall should be replaced. I have just referred my cousin brother to take an AA policy for all his 3 cars but needless to say..this is in regret and I WILL advise him differently. One would have expected a better service from a company of this stature. AA prouds itself of good service???
