PAYMENT NIGHTMARE

I used my RCS card to pay for a new exhaust in January. During the past 5 weeks I have had numerous calls (at least 10) from RCS informing me that my account is in arrears for the amount of R248.00, and that I needed to bring it up to date or face being handed over. On 14 march I paid that amount via EFT using all the correct information as requested on the statement.

In addition, I was requested and emailed a copy of my bank statement as proof of payment.

Eventually I received an sms from RCS informing me that the matter was now settled. Only to receive calls yesterday and today 26-27/03 informing me that my account is in arrears by R248.00.

Despite all this, RCS cannot track my payment. At the end of the month I intend to go to Fochinis and settle the full balance and then cut the card up and mail it to RCS head Office with a letter explaining my action.

The nightmare just won't end. I have an A1 credit rating and it could be spoiled by the worst incompetence I have yet encountered.
