Over the last few months I have become increasingly frustrated with the sheer difficulty in buying electricity via Cellphone Banking (USSD codes). Previously about 1 in 3 attempts were successful, but this has dropped to about 1 in 10, and in the last 24 hours 0 success from 6 attempts. "Technical error. try again later" is the usual error message.
I had to use the Absa Mobi site, which is vastly more tedious to get electricity today.
Can someone please fix this issue, as I often need to buy electricity at odd hours, and going to a shop is not always feasible, and the USSD banking method is by far the easiest.
