Taking money the easy way

I have been with them for 2 years now, I almost had 2 great years of service, when I didn't have to claim from them!

Since I had a breakin last year they have been exceptionally hard to deal with, (see other report on car). This is where thier true colours show.

I got a brand new iPad 2 for christmas, when I wanted to insure it, I was made to give a value for it, and being a bit dislexic, I gave R4500 instead of R5400 (found out when i tried to claim). Also I did tell them it was new! (ie christmas present, christmas day new!) When I travelled down to CPT in Jan I had the misfortune of my ipad being destroyed by getting run over on the freeway on the way back, not happy about it but atleast it was insured... well little did I know that my insurance company would only pay out R3900 for this!!!

So instead of getting a new ipad I now have little to nothing for it and have NO ipad. How on green earth is anyone supposed to by a new ipad for R3900!!! It seems that this insurance company is out to its customers and will not replace any new items.

Be very wary when they ask for value, but if you over insure they you too! Not recommended for insurance at all!!!
