I have a complaint where I was robbed by a certain J Lewis who was
selling me his tractor, I deposited an amount of R39, 900.00 into "his"
1336126777 Capitec account on the 19 December 2012 and disappeared. I have reported the
case to the police which were very cooperative and requested Capitec
to freeze the Account. Capitec said the account was already frozen as
there were other cases pending against the account so my money is safe
in which they transferred me to their forensic department. I spoke to
a lady called Debra and gave all the proof that I deposited the money
and my ID book, she called the account owner who she told me was a
lady and this lady say the R39, 900.00 that was deposited on the 19th
December in her account was for catering for a friend!!! Now Capitec
is not handing over this criminal to the police and are saying I must
hire a lawyer in order to get my money back!!! Now Capitec is holding
my money hostage and I have to pay a lawyer. The worst part is I have
been offered a tractor deal now I have to borrow money in order to buy
this tractor yet I have my money at Capitec... pls help
