FNB Online Banking System Verification Failure

I applied for a cellphone with FNB online Banking System. Everything was processed on the system were I upgraded my account, address details, handset type and insurance etc, I got a call the next day from FNB call centre to verify my details and agreed to the terms and conditions of my application. The handset was delivered with within five days after my application which is good.
My house was broken into and my handset was which I reported to the police. I contacted FNB for an insurance claim. The lady at the call centre said the SYSTEM did not validate my insurance application they could not assist me. I asked her to check as to why everything was validated but not the insurance, she promised to get back to me about two weeks ago. I called again a week ago and spoke to Zandile who said she will escalate to Charlotte.
I feel I have been given a go around by FNB, how come the Online Banking system which they say is secure didn't validate The insurance when everything went through without any hassle. Its been two weeks and the staff I spoke to don't seem to care. When I applied on a Sunday I received a call early Monday morning but now two weeks later I'm still waiting??
