CARDS BLOCKED & IGNORING REQUESTS

During the first week of Dec 2012 my personal accounts was upgraded to a new package. During 18 Dec 2012 I received a sms confirming that my new cards are at the branch. I was already on leave and only returned to PTA on 14 Jan 2013. I MAILED my so called personal banker, informed her of the sms and told her I would only be able to collect the cards during the week of 14 Jan 2013 and they must please keep the cards active untill then. Today, my first day back in PTA I went to Woolworths Brooklyn to buy fresh produce. Neither credit or cheque card worked, they were "hotlisted" and the cashier informed me loudly that they have to call the manager. I tried to draw cash from the ATM in Woolworths, my cheque card was kept by the ATM. Just before going to Woolworths I bought a present at Carol Boys and my card worked! I called card division whom informed me that my cards was blocked because my new cards were at the branch. He told me card division never received a request for the cards "life" to be prolonged. What is the point of mailing a personal banker and the dont follow through with the request and me standing like a fool with trolley full of food. This is pathetic.
