Problem with ATM

On 27 Feb 2013 i tried to withdraw R2000 from an ATM in Mpumalanga only to find that there was no money in the ATM. The receipt from the ATM reflected that I had just withdrew R2000 (this was incorrect). I then went inside the bank for assistance and i was told that that transaction was corrected. A few days later I started getting sms's from STD stating that my debit orders didnt go through because I had no funds in my account. I went to Maponya Mall & Northgate branch, and no one could assist me. Finally i was assisted by Maritjie from the Clearwater branch who managed to speak to Lee from Mpumalanga (the guy who took forever to process my query). My concerns are that my debit orders didnt go through because of the don't care attitude from Lee and the other consultants. Secondly, i was clearly charged interests for the debit orders that failed to go through. My query was only resolved yesterday because Maritjie helped me (my money is still not in my account). My question is that, am i going to be refunded for the interest that was charged. I am very disappointed and am really going to change banks! Standard Bank is just a disaster!
