Standard Bank Disappointing Billing system

Checked my account today and I have over -R2000 outstanding balance. When i called the call centre I was advised that this is because I made certain purchases and at a time that Absa Merchant systems had an error thus the amounts were not collected at the right time. The agent I spoke to had no reasonable sound explanation why these amounts would kick back to me when all the time I was making these transactions i received notifications via sms that the purchases were being deducted off my account. Even worse the supervisor, Angelique couldn't explain why the amounts Absa failed to collect did not show as a reversal. I have banked with Standard bank for 10 years and have not received any value nor any form of innovative approach to banking but i still stuck with Standard Bank. I swear on my life Standard Bank better prepare to lose a 10 year loyal client. I will not be making a payment of R2000.00 because i do not have it and Im appalled at the fact that no one can give me a sound 360 degree explanation. As soon as FNB grants me, Im shutting down my STD Bank account. Their everything is so unfair, so old fashioned and offers no value to the customer. This is not the bank one can grow with!
