I took a loan with standard bank to consolidate all of my debt, when I completed the application form I included my Edgars account that also had to be settled along with various other accounts. Only to struggle for more than 2 years now, to get the problem resolved with absolutely no joy from standard bank whatsoever!!! My edgars account has now over R2000 worth of interest on the account plus the attorneys are threatening to black list me due to standard bank never paying my edgars account like they were suppose too. I have been paying my consolidation loan with them ever since I took it without missing an instalment, yet I have been sent from pillar to post as nobody at standard bank wants to take responsibility for the up they made with not paying my edgars account while there was more than enough funds available in the loan I took to pay the account. Now standard bank wants to increase my loan amount for me now to pay my edgars account including the R2000 interest which was due to non payment of my account by standard bank, and therefore put me more into debt by almost R7000 where my account was R4100, not even their consumer advocate bothers to give feedback!!!
