I have raised my concern on 05-02-2013 about a transaction that was done on 02-02-2013 at CNA Meyerton. After going to the bank I consulted with CNA in person at that store and no such transaction took place on their registry but is specified on my monthly statement. It was an amount of R285-00. I was told by a consultant that the matter will be investigated and I will be contacted within 12 business days, did not happen.
After 3 phone calls I have still had no response from Standard Bank. Upon my 2nd call I was informed that the matter had been resolved and removed as a query. This is not the kind of service I was expecting.
Maybe we should go back to the safer way of storing money, under your bed?
At the very least you are living up to your name, being but merely a 'standard' bank.
