Hand to chase Absa about my case

My debit card was cloned. I received smses at midnight about money being taken out of my account. I immediately stopped the card. I filled out dispute claim form at the Eastlands branch.i was assured that I would get my money back within a week or two and the bank responsible depatrment would contact me.after four weeks I heard nothing, I had to phone several departments to find out about my case. I was told it was close and that they couldnt send me the letter about my case because the post office was striking. The bank has all my details and no one bothered to call or email me. After arguing about my case the consultant couldnt give a reason why my case was rejected, The letter states that my debit card was used along with the secret pin therefore they arent liable. However I believe nobody bothered to investigate or read my case because my card wasnt but cloned at a store. Secondly I never gave my pin out and I still have the card in my possession. I was sleeping when these illegal transactions took place. The customer service is disgusting. A copy of the letter emailed to me doesnt have a valid reason nor any contact details of the person who authorized this outcome.
