I reported a case of on my account, an amount of R3000.00 was withdrawn out of my account at an ATM, i reported the matter a couple of minutes after recieving an sms notifying of the withdrawal. I was at work when it happened, it was impossible for me to have withdrawn the money. I informed the person opening the case that i have my bank card with me (witnesses in my office to verify that card was with me when the sms came through to say money was withdrawn from ATM). The case was opened on the 9/10/2013, after phoning each day to find out what the outcome is as no one bothered to contact me back, i was informed today 28/10/2013 that it was me that withdrew the money out of my account and that they are declining the refund. They are saying that it was my original card that was used to withdraw the money. I even sent them copies of my card to show that it is in my possession. I feel that they did not bother to investigate the matter properly, and why would i report on my account if i withdrew the money. The investigator agreed last week that my card was cloned, yet this week turns around and declines the case.
