A case was logged with absa, my card was used between 11 pm and 4 in the morning. The card was in my possession and no one knows my pin no. The case was closed without me be inv informed of the reason .the bank do accept that it is but because a card and a pin no was used they cannot refund me.

It is not my problem if the bank cannot protect its customers from such issues and further more if the card was in my possession I cannot be held liable for such issues, the person who resolved the complaint advised me to send a mail to [Email Removed] .

I have always dealt with fourways branch and the lady has always been helpfull.

For today I went to north gate branch.

The lady had a major attitude even before telling my story I asked her if she is angry and she said NO . She just went into the system and gave me the no to call without even explaining why was my case closed until I demanded a reason. She might not have access to the system yes but we all take efforts to help our customers
