I have a claim in with MUA claim no: CDB13030074 - for repairs to my vehicle that was involved in an accident recently. My car insurance includes a hire car should I need one at times like these. I drive an automatic Jeep 4x4 with air, power steering, air bags, cd player etc... and when trying to book this hire car with Eurocar - Phindi advised me that MUA will not give me an automatic vehicle unless I pick up the difference in cost!
This is grossly unfair - my car insurance is high every month - surely they can afford to give a customer who drives an automatic car - an automatic hire car to use while their vehicle is under repairs???
My broker now has to pick up this cost and it is not right.
I am not happy at all.
