It is so amazing and confussing to note standardbank's service when it comes to clearing a deposited cheque, especially when you have requested special clearance, as this is happening to me for the third time now. On monday i deposited a cheque and requested a special clearance, on tuesday i got a call from my client saying that she received a call from the bank asking her if they could clear the cheque and she said yes, and yesterday i went to the bank to enquire because i was told that it takes 3working days to clear and they said it would clear later yesterday. But today is the fourth day? Does this have to do with the bank trying to get some intereset from this cheque? I am really frustrated and confussed.
