Dont you want me to pay off my account

I have bought my vehicle through Wesbank five years back. I have battled to keep up my payments as I have lost my business 2 years back and was without a job for 6 months. However I managed to pay off the original 5 year contract and a part of the residual amount in December. I have mailed Wesbank several times to make arrangements for the balance and even once got a a reply to apologise for the delay in answering my query and to tell me that the matter was referred to the person working with my account. But since december no reply. This week I got a mail from Goodwell. I contacted him and he offered me a settlement letter. My reply to him was that i can not pay it all at once, but I offered a down payment. It was immediately declined and I was told to apply for re finance.nothing wrong with that, but the next day I received a mail from a woman telling me that they want to come and collect my vehicle and after that I can try and make arrangements for payment of the residual. I have sent Goodwell another mail to make even a higher downpayment and is still waiting on his reply. I have paid about R300 000 on my account already. Why wont Wesbank allow me to pay the balance without all this hassle?
