I went to the bank as I had a bit of debt and had dificulty in paying all the individual installments so I asked a consultant at African bank if I may take a consolidation loan, he gave me the option of a R12, 000 a R4, 000 which I accepted because the system approved me. He told me everything is fine I signed and then he said unfortunately the branch does not have bank cards and that I should come saturday, I stay in Randburg so driving to this branch in Centurion is a bit costly but I agreed. (they said I can't do this contract at any other branch), this was thursday, so the saturday before I start driving luckily I phone only to hear that the branch still does not have cards. finally on Tuesday I drive all the way to Centurion get the card sign I ask them is every thing now in order they say: "yes" they give me the phone I do my pin. Almost out of petrol I drive back to Randburg, expecting the money and card to work the next day I drive to work. That afternoon at 4 they phone me only to say I failed the assesment. I told them that as far as I was told the contract was sealed. The amount of time, damage and money they have caused me makes me believe this bank does not care.
