BAD SERVICE - INCOMPETENCY

I applied for a personal loan and credit card at the African Bank branch in Carlton Centre on Friday and it was approved on the day. I was asked to come in the next day (Saturday) to sign off documents. I was desperate and I agreed. I asked when the funds will be released to my account and they confirmed that the money will be available on the Monday. Monday came, nothing! Tuesday also, nothing. I called to enquire and was told that I was on "queue" for payment processing!! I have never, through my past experience with African Bank, heard such rubbish!! Again, I understood and waited. I then received a call from the branch on Wednesday asking me to come in again to take my fingerprints as the ones they had recorded were unclear. I did so without contesting. Today is Thursday and I still have not heard from African Bank. I called them again and they told me to come back again to take more fingerprint scans as they still find my fingerprints 'unclear'! Their excuse: OUR MANAGER'S STILL NEW? they did not take responsibility and blamed it on their new manager! NONSENSE!!

I am on the verge of cancelling my loan with them as I feel that I am being taken for a ride
