Why use an unprofessional courier company

Your courier company phoned me to make an appointment to deliver my card. I was given options and selected today between 10 & 12. At 9:30 I got a call from my office stating that the guy was there. I was less than 2km from the office and stated I would only take about 5 minutes to arrive. Less than 5 minutes I arrived there only to find that the courier had left and told reception he would be back after 12pm. As if I am going to move my meetings according to his schedule? What's the point of making an appointment then if you are going to stuff me around? I have meetings and go out to clients and can't sit around for an courier to arrive when he feels like it.

I phoned the courier and stated my case, to which she said she will ask him to deliver before 12. Later she phoned again and said the courier is delayed, can he come in the afternoon to which I said no. I asked if they can deliver the card to my private banker to which I am still awaiting an answer.

Just received a call on my mobile at 1pm to be told the courier is back for the delivery. Which part of "I can't meet with them today" after 12pm do they not understand.

Seriously Diners, make a plan or keep my card!
