I Personally called for a Insurance quote on my car. The consultant was excellent and sold me on the benefits.
I agreed to the cover, and while giving my detail, I went into my bank statement to get the account details. There I saw that my current insurer was considerably lower than the quote.
In an attempt to retain my business, I was transferred to the retention department. I told the lady there my Premium, and asked about the advertised R400 as their quote was higher than my current premium.
She offered to look into it and get back to me.
Its been a few days, and silence...
