On Highveld radio I heard the Outsurance advertisement claiming to pay R400 to a consumer if their quote is not lower than the consumer's current insurance cover.
As such, I smsed 'Quote' to 44166 to receive a quotation. The consultant contacted me this afternoon and I proceeded to do a quotation on my vehicle.
The quote was not lower than my current cover. The consultant said the department responsible would contact me about the R400 payment.
However, I have not heard from them at all.
