I recently sold my property and paid of my homeloan. FNB kept aside a month installemnt which would be refunded to me after 40days. I filled in forms and requested the funds to be paid to me sooner. I faxed the request on the 19/02/2013 and received a tramission report that the fax did go thru', I called in on the 27/02/2013 to query why the refunds have still not been paid to me, the consultant advised me that the request was not received and that I should resend the request and she will escalate my query, I therefore emailed the request again on the 27/02/2013 and on the 28/02/2013 got a "READ" reply. It now been the 06/03/2013 and still no refund. I called in again and was advised again that my request was not received "BS" I have a fax tramission report and a "READ" email response, the consultant advised that she will escalate the request for me again. "BS" after been on the phone for more than 30mins, I spoke to a Team Leader who eventually sorted my request and the funds were received the next day. Terrible service, time consuming, what an effort. FNB please get your Homeloans Cancellation dept in order, I guess your Homeloans debit dept must be in order to collect funds.
