Debit order issue

My bank details changed about 2 months ago. I asked my discovery broker, Paul Winder of Mainsail, to update my Discovery life and investment polices accordingly. He managed to update only my life policy, so the investment payment came out of the old account which had insufficient funds, causing it to bounce and cost me money in a penalty fee.

After emailing Paul and getting a response that this will be fixed and there will be feedback, I heard nothing until the 5th of the next month, when the investment payment attempted to go off the wrong account (which is now closed) again!

I am now receiving texts telling me I am behind on my investment payments.

This is just one complaint in a long line of them as far as Discovery goes. If you can avoid using them, please do.

As for Paul Winder, if he is assigned to you as a broker, immediately request a new one. He is lazy and completely unhelpful. He will only assist you if it means more commission for him. He does not look after his clients.
