I called ABSA credit card division yesterday afternoon at around 16h00 to establish what was wrong with my card as I was receiving an error message every time I tried to use it only to be told my card is fine.
So off I went to collect my car from the service center and to swipe my card to discover yet again it's still not working. I called the card division again from the service center, to be told my card has expired, however the date reflected on my card is 06/13. I spoke to the consultant to be told there is nothing that can be done other than to be issued a new card which will be sent to me in who the knows how long. I was then transferred to the consultants manager, for her to try and assist me and change the date on her system to reflect my expiry date on my card, but alas the call was cut so conventionally and do you think anyone called me back... no why would they!! Shocking!!!
I am sick to death of ABSA and their rubbish and ridiculously high bank charges etc. I will now officially be moving my account elsewhere. I am done!
