I have recently lost my credit card. Called Absa credit card division to have it blocked and replaced. All done efficiently apart from the fact that my old credit card was due renewal in November this year and the new replacement card issued has the exact expiry date. Where is the logic in that? or is it a case of milking the unsuspecting customers. I expected a better service from Absa, considering that I've been with them for so many years. In an ideal world that credit card should have been replaced with the one with longer a valid date and I shouldn't have been charged for it. I don't even want to mention the inconvenience of having to queue again to collect yet another replacement card. Please we deserve a better service than this.
