My wife switched to FNB about 3 months ago after being convinced by brother-and-sister in law that it's a brilliant move. Since switching, she's gone into the branch VARIOUS times to get her card/account/Pin sorted. After at LEAST 3 times in the branch to get this fixed, she STILL has to enter her pin FOUR times every time she pays at a grocery shop (3 times till pin fails, then fourth when it connects...)
Her debit orders have been switched now - sure enough - but this morning, when she went to use online banking, no luck. STILL complaining about pin vs. ID number combo.
Further more, when she called the call center, guess what they told her? "The tablet app is not working... Use Internet Banking"...
Suffice to say, using this APP was something rubbed in my face a couple of times by all parties involved, coz ABSA doesn't have one. Well guess what? ABSA's doesn't FAIL either!
FNB - You promised my wife an easy transition. She's been in branches ten times more since joining you than she ever did with Nedbank.
BWAHAHAHA! I'm keeping my platinum accounts with Absa! No way *I* ever switch!
Call me if you want her account details.
