I have been offered an upgrade on my existing policy with 1Life by a consultant. I have queried why if it is an upgrade the policy will be debited separately from the one that I have. He said it is done like that BECAUSE IT IS AN UPGRADE, and I can can call after two months to combined the two. I accepted the policy only to find out the truth when he emailed me the policy documents. The policy numbers are different, the benefits are totally different and I realised it is a totaly separate policy. Why the?
Is 1Life so desparate for business that even the consultant will so blatantly? I am disappointed.
