I took a loan with Izwe in 2008, I went to Izwe in 2010 to get a settlement letter, and on that letter I was left with one instalment of about R948, Unfortunately I ran into some trouble and applied for debt review, where an arrangement was made with Izwe, that was the same month I got the letter. I received notification from debt review that I was only left with R444 to pay Izwe, I was happy that i have paid the loan and that debt was out of the way, to my suprise I received a phone call from a guy called Given from Coombe and Associates who said that he was calling on behalf of Izwe and I have to pay R6800 to settle the account, to my suprise I asked him to send me statements as I did not understand where that amount came from. Given calls back and reads a lot of things that I did not understand and I told him to email the stmnt, but i never received it, I am still getting threatening emails that I must pay, however they cannot tell me what I must pay for, not to forget the amount is rising, I got a final demand sms this morning for R7217, but still nobody can tell me what I am supposed to be paying for. Izwe needs to get their facts straight and stop playing games.
