On e 15thJan I applied for a Home-loan to 3 banks&on the 28thJan, I got an approval in principle subject to the bank doing valuation on the property to find value against the sellers asking price.30thJan got final approval from F.N.B paying20% deposit & bond80%, which I was asked to sign and send back. From then, all was in order I had to go out of my way to source the R240k (which I have already deposited in full in the Attorney's bank account) and R60k for the transfer fees, I can not explain how I ran around to get such an amount so that I fulfill my obligation.bank questioned my marital status which was to be sorted out. Today on the 27thFeb, that's when I have been informed that F.N.B. Home loans couldnt continue with the loan as I did not hold a Green I.D book, and then the company policy says I should get a 50% bond, as I applied using my Permanent Residence which has a pending I.D at the Home Affairs Department. My gross disappointment is the case that if this was advised to me on the 28thJan surely I would not be here expressing my disgrace. I went out of my way and bank charges to liquidate some of my assets so as to get the deposit, gave notice to my agent to move out already, Tjoo
