Standard Bank Home loan - Ref: BOND: S & K GANGAN / STANDARD BANK LIMITED: OVER ERF 2626 WELTEVREDEN PARK EXT 19 - We went to the Std Bank Greenstone in Sep 2012 and met with the consultant (Gugulethu Khumalo). We received a home loan pre-approval on the 20th Oct for R1, 2 milllion which incl transfer costs as we both banked with Std Bank. Our Offer to Purchase was handed to Gugu on the 7th Dec - property value R900, 000.00. After no feedback from Gugu we went to the Greenstone Branch on the 15th Dec & met with her to stress the urgency. I went to the bank thereafter on the 17th, 19th, 20th and 21st, 24th Dec. I finally got confirmation the 27th Dec the home loan was approved for R1 million & this amount would incl the cost of the house of R900, 000.00 and the bal of R100, 000.00 for transfer costs. On the 8th Jan 2013 I was contacted by Rose Mohane and advised that the Home Loans dept will now only grant us a home loan of R940, 000.00! We urgently need assistance from Senior Management from Std Bank to resolve our issues with our home loan.
