I contacted Lungile Ndlovu on Friday, 22 February, to enquire about setting up an appointment. She then asked me to email my ID number and my husband's ID number to her to investigate some possible solutions. I then made an appointment for Monday, 25 February. On Monday morning I emailed her to cancel the appointment as my child was sick. We then rescheduled for today, 26 February.
When I got to the branch she was not there. Someone else then wanted to assist me after waiting for 15 minutes. I walked out as I would then have to wait for them to do the enquiries Lungile was supposed to do.
How is it ok to make bookings with clients and then not pitch for appointments. If you know you are not going to make it contact your employer and ask for the appointment to be cancelled. I have now lost more than an hour out of my day because of someone's incompetence.
