Debiting account that's paid up!

I paid up my account with absa last year (2012) May already. I did the right thing, called the call centre, sent them the paid up letter so the account could be closed, the very next month they debited&my bank (FNB) put on a stop order& i arrangd with absa to close the account &stop debiting, which i thought they did! To my surprise they debited a few times and twice in Feb (2013) and now giving me long stories, but according to call centre the acc is closd by them, Chane or Chandre louw, said it could be my bank debiting to a suspense acc or something, but on my bank statements it says Absa &the acc nr! My question is, when am i getting my refnd from absa & what more msut i still do to stop the DO completely?? No manager is ever available to assist& you must deal with these unprofessional call centre agents who dont even understand you! Please get back to me as it seems this will be the only way to get your attention! Reading all the bad comments from Absa, it's actually pathetic service for such a big financial institute.. Disgusted, bad service, worst service ever received!!!
