LOSS OF CASH BACK BONUS
We have been with Dial Direct for an amount of 4 years with no claims being processed. Last year October we missed an instalment and when we phoned Dial Direct to arrange an eft payment to them of the outstanding monies (this was a few days after the missed instalment), Dial direct then advised that it is not necessary to pay the monies for the missed month, they would just renew the policy from the next month. We thought this to be fine as we were still covered if anything. What dial direct failed to inform us of, is that if we agree to this, we lose our cash back bonus of R10 000.00. I find this to be totally unfair as I was willing to catch up the missed instalment but was convinced by Dial direct that it wasn't necessary. If I had known or been made aware that this would mean losing my out bonus, I would never have agreed. I feel that this needs to be resolved as soon as possible. When contacting Dial Direct, all they can say to me now is, "I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do now..."
