I am currently in Dubai on Vacation and regisitered on Absa Internet banking to do an international transfer via Western Union. I receieved an Error message 98 - Stating CID Detail incomplete. I called the call centre from Dubai and was told to change my personal details - which I did. This did not rectify the problem. I have emailed my personal banker twice as well as the ABSA action line - no assistance. I have called the International queries line twice and have waited in excess of 10 minutes to speak to a consultant - I am still waiting. This is appauling! I expect to have this sorted out asap as I am now abroad with no way to transfer funds!
