I APPLIED FOR A HOME LOAN IN JANUARY 2013, I WAS REQUESTED TO SEND DOCUMENTS SEVERAL TIMES, I COMPLIED TO THIS AND DID IT. I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE EARLY FEB WHEN I GOT CONFIRMATION THAT THE DOCS WERE RECEIVED FOR FEEDBACK, I HAVE PHONED WEEK AFTER WEEK SPEAKING TO CONSULTANT AFTER CONSULTANT TO GET A RESPONSE REGARDING THE LOAN AND NO JOY. LAST WEEK TUESDAY I SPOKE TO DIANA IN THE CONTACT CENTRE, WHO THEN ADVISED THAT SHE CANNOT EXPLAIN WHY THIS APP IS TAKING SO LONG BECAUSE IT USUALLY TAKES 7-10 WORKING DAYS, LOW AND BEHOLD WE ARE AT THE END OF FEB AND STILL NO JOY. ON FRIDAY I SPOKE TO CLIFFORD THE TEAM LEADER WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO GET BACK TO ME WITH FEEDBACK, I TOLD HIM I'M NOT HOLDING MY BREATH FOR ANYONE TO PHONE ME BACK, AND NO ONE HAS.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS IN MY OPINION AND THE SERVICE IS POOR, I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF STD BANK FOR YEARS AND I HAVE EXPERIENCED GOOD SERVICE SO I ASSUMED THE SAME WOULD HAPPEN WITH MY HOME LOAN.
