Outsurance
Accused of after speaking Afrikaans

I am not an Outsurance customer (nor will I ever be after this incident). I had an accident in peak hour traffic and gave my details to the other lady who is insured with Outsurance who phoned me a while later at about 11:00. I stated that I was busy lecturing and could only take calls after 15:00. They kept calling me weekly at around the same time every morning. I gave my email address in an attempt to get the situation sorted out. As fate would have it, my email account was hacked meaning I couldn't use it any longer. I didnt hear from Outsurance for quite some time. When they called me again it was to threaten me with a summons, again during working hours, NOT after 15:00. Up to that point I had no way calling back since all calls are from unknown numbers. An sms from her couldve resolved that. After many failed attempts to explain what had happened (email address, etc), I decided to switch to Afrikaans, my mother tongue, in a desperate attempt to be understood. Ms Mncube immediately accused me of being a and threatened to lay a charge against me. Pathetic that a professional needs to pull the race card to disguise her poor job performance. I am not a, just angry!
