This is not a complaint but I need to get my request to the right person.
I requested that "Employee Dishonesty" cover be added to my policy. There seems to have been a miscommunication between myself, your consultant and the underwriting department. I need insurance cover for our registration with the Financial Services Board. The FSB call it "Fidelity Guarantee" cover. This is for misappropriation of funds by employees.
When speaking to your consultant I stated that we, as most businesses today, use internet banking and wanted to clarify that I was merely confirming that this was the way we do banking. Also I erred in that our books are audited for FSB purposes.
The feedback I got from your consultant was the you do not cover internet. I do not require cover for that sort of. I am aware that that sort of is not perpetrated by my employees. Furthermore, as professional accountants, we do not hold any stock in trade.
I trust this clarifies the situation and that "employee dishonesty" cover can now be quoted for and implemented.
