First National Bank
ATM PROBLEM

I went to the SPAR ATM to withdraw. I inserted my card and the ATM asked for my pin code, which I punched in. After that, it asked for my cell number. I found that strange and tried to cancel, but my card wouldn't come out. I stayed at the ATM, and called ATM Cancellation. First the call was cut off, and then I called again. The lady could not trace me on the system with my ID, Cell No or name, even when I spell it to her. Finally she traced me with my account number and cancelled the card. An amount of R3000.00 was withdrawn from a linked account while I was still at the ATM. I didn't leave the ATM and used an old card to ensure that my card was not stuck in the machine. How is it possible that someone could withdraw from my account at another ATM when the card never came out, and where did they get my pin number? Is the bank aware of the diversion on the ATM, because it happened to my husband not so long ago. Are the criminals too smart for the bank and it's customerS, and what is the bank doing about this?
