I received an SMS stating;
"Your Standardbank acc has been handed over to ADRS Legal please phone 0105913101 to avoid LEGAL ACTION Ref:10005535199".
I made contact with Standardbank card division who told me I am in the clear.
I then spoke to customer service who told me I am in the clear.
I then phoned the above number and left a voicemail after which I received a callback and spoke to a Glynis who informed me the SMS was not intended for me, but for a Sophy/something.
Upon enquiry she told me she works for Advanced debt recovery solutions and that the system / Standardbank made a mistake.
Now all of the above seem fine and I do appologise if I am overeacting, but check your systems as I have waisted 50minutes of my time - sorting out your and ADRS ERROR.
