I settled my credit card in July 2012.
On the 25th of January 2013 and amount of R461.25 was taken out of my bank account. (AFBNK REC 74000381257 130124).
I have attempted to contact the card division and was sent an sms stating that my request for a refund was rejected. (Ref: 8869911)
I called the card division again today but about every time I was placed on hold for 8 minutes at a time.
I did not give African Bank permission to debit my account seeing as I have settled the credit card. I clearly asked the lady to close the account after the settlement.
I demand that the amount debited from my account be paid back asap.
