I had a loan with Capitech some time ago and I defaulted and know the account is paid up since last year January and i requested capitec to update my status on credit bearue.i was told by capitec that the request has been submitted to transunion, but my status is not yet updated. I am drawing my report each an everyday to check but it is not yet updated. Fellow south africans, do you know the extend of damage caused by transunion on peoples life? we dont default because we feel like doing so, no we defaulted due to some unforseable circumstances. Can i ask transunion to update my profile as per capitec request please.
