I took a loan with Capitec in 2007 (acc no 1204071148830489) and due to slow/skip payment I was handed to their lawyers for collection. they put a garnish order on my salary. I finished paying them in 2009. Their lawyers from Onelaw send me settlement letter to confirm that I don't owe them anymore. My problem is that Capitec bank don't update their records in Transunion. I don't have any judgement or default but every-time I want to apply for a credit they tell me that I owe Capitec, when I check my credit report it says 150 as if I have defaulted and I didn't. So I went to Capitec branch in Calton Centre, and they told me that they'll call the CM what what and it should be addressed in a weeks time, that was in February 2013, even today nothing has been done, the status on Transunion is still the same. Please help.
