On the 16 0r 17th Jan i received a call from a consultant named Winnie for Coombe and Associates, explaining to me that i defaulted on my SaMulti loan repayments, i acknowledged my debt and she told me that i have to pay my loan via debit order which i agreed to, and she further explained to me that i do not have to make payment right away i will be given a grace period of 2months (of which the debit was to start end march) and then i will have to start with the repayments..i agreed to that.2days later a gentleman came to my work for me to sign papers.and then today 14-02-2013 a sherriff of the court appeared at my work with a garnishee order... my question is what was the point of making that arrangement if this was going to happen, and the interest they charge is just out of this world... my loan amount with interest was R10616... total repayment to them is R28002-12... is this acceptable??
