In June 2013 I opened Nedbank business accounts. I was told that when opening the account that I would receive support for nedbank with their small business package. I was told that what ever I put into the business, Nedbank would loan the portion of the amount to back to the business. This being their way of supporting small businesses. I have now been operating now for 4 and a half months and am doing extremely well with the business financially. When we advised nedbank that we would like to purchase fleet vehicles due to the nature of our business we need to purchase small bakkies. We were told to get the quotes and they would organise the finance for us. Well, after mounds of paper work submitted as well as financial figures (which are awesome) we get told that because I as the director am young and do not have debt against my name they are not prepared to assist??? I was promised so many things when first choosing Nedbank. (despite the fact that they were aware of my age at the time of opening the accounts) I moved both my businesses from FNB to Nedbank now I am going to close all my accounts with Nedbank and go back to FNB where promises are made and delivered.
